Clint enjoys helping clients find common sense legal solutions to their business needs and not overcharging them for his services. He uses his years of experience to provide efficient and careful advice on a wide variety of corporate and transaction matters, including venture capital finance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset purchase transactions, employment agreements, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations.

Clint has deep experience in commercial finance matters, loan agreements, security documents, guaranties, forbearance agreements, loan modifications and intercreditor agreements. He often serves as local Utah counsel in the delivery of third-party legal opinions. His finance expertise extends to debt restructuring, loan workouts, debtor-in-possession finance, project finance and real estate finance. He is an expert on all aspects of the Uniform Commercial Code. He regularly works with clients on a flat fee basis and has a particular interest in the technology, outdoor retail and renewable energy industries. He is fluent in Japanese and enjoys skiing and mountain biking in the Wasatch Mountains.

Prior to joining the firm, Clint practiced at Stoel Rives LLP in Salt Lake City; VanCott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy in Salt Lake City; and O’Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles.
